The Ass, the Fox, and the Lion

An Ass and a Fox made friends and traveled together. One day, they met a Lion.

The Fox, trying to save himself, told the Lion, “I’ll help you catch the Ass if you let me go.”

The Lion agreed. The Fox led the Ass into a trap. But after the Lion caught the Ass, he also killed the Fox.

Moral: Betraying others doesn’t guarantee your own safety.
