The Bat and the Weasels

A Bat fell to the ground and was caught by a Weasel who hated birds.

The Bat cried, “I’m not a bird—I’m a mouse!” and was set free.

Later, the Bat was caught by another Weasel who hated mice.

Again, he said, “I’m a bird!” and escaped.

Moral: Flexibility can save you—but constant deceit can cost you trust.
