The Old Woman and the Doctor
An Old Woman had eye problems and asked a Doctor to treat her. She promised to pay only after she was healed.
Each day the Doctor came, he treated her eyes—but also stole something from her house.
When she was finally cured, she refused to pay.
The Doctor took her to court.
She said, “Before your treatment, I could see everything in my house. Now, I can’t even find my furniture!”
Moral: A dishonest helper may be worse than no help at all.
