The Eagle and the Fox

An Eagle stole the Fox’s young and carried them to her nest.

The Fox begged her to return them, but the Eagle refused.

So the Fox lit a branch from an altar and set fire near the tree. The Eagle, afraid, returned the cubs.

Moral: Even the powerful must fear the desperate and determined.
