The Farmer and the Snake

One winter, a Farmer found a frozen Snake and, feeling sorry for it, placed it inside his coat. As it warmed up, the Snake bit him and gave him a fatal wound.

With his last breath, the Farmer said, “I deserve this for showing kindness to a dangerous creature.”

Moral: Kindness to the ungrateful can lead to harm.
