The Eagle and the Arrow
An Eagle was flying high in the sky, searching for prey. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain and began falling toward the ground. An archer had shot him with an arrow.
As the Eagle looked at the arrow that had pierced his chest, he noticed that the feathers on it were his own. The archer had used eagle feathers to make the arrow fly better.
With his final breath, the Eagle said, “It hurts even more to know that I helped create the weapon that killed me.”
Moral: Sometimes the greatest pain comes from being hurt by something you helped create.
