The Ass, the Cock, and the Lion

An Ass and a Rooster were in a field together when a hungry Lion approached. As the Lion got closer, the Rooster let out a loud crow.

The sound startled the Lion so much that he ran away in fear.

Seeing this, the Ass became overconfident and chased after the Lion. But when the Lion realized it was just an Ass following him, he turned around and tore him apart.

Moral: Don’t let false courage lead you into real danger.
