The Master and His Dogs

A man was stuck at home because of a storm. First, he killed a sheep to feed his household. Then he killed a goat. As the storm continued, he finally killed his oxen.

Seeing this, the Dogs whispered, “Let’s run away! If he kills the animals that work hardest for him, we’ll be next!”

Moral: Don’t trust someone who harms those closest to them.
