The Farmer and the Cranes

Some Cranes were stealing grain from a Farmer’s field. At first, he just waved a sling to scare them away.

But when they stopped being afraid, he started throwing stones—and killed many of them.

The rest flew away and said, “It’s time to leave. This man now means business.”

Moral: If warnings don't work, action will follow.
