The Cat and the Mice

A Cat had been hunting the Mice so often that they were too scared to come out. The Cat came up with a trick—he hung himself upside down from a hook, pretending to be dead.

A clever Mouse peeked out and said, “I don’t care if you’re a sack or a dead cat—I’m not coming down!”

Moral: Once you’ve been tricked, be extra cautious the next time.
