The Dog and the Cook

A Cook was preparing meat in the kitchen. A Dog watched carefully, waiting for the perfect moment.

When the Cook turned away for just a second, the Dog grabbed a piece of meat and ran.

Later, the Cook saw the Dog and scolded him.

The Dog replied, “If you didn’t want me to take it, you should have watched it better.”

Moral: Temptation grows when no one is watching.
