The Ant and the Dove

An Ant fell into a stream and was about to drown. A Dove saw the Ant struggling and dropped a leaf into the water. The Ant climbed on and floated to safety.

Later, a Hunter came to catch the Dove. The Ant crawled up and bit the man’s foot. He missed his shot, and the Dove flew away.

Moral: A kindness, no matter how small, is often repaid.
