The Old Woman and the Doctor
An Old Woman had poor eyesight and hired a Doctor. She promised to pay him only if he cured her.
The Doctor began treating her—but secretly stole valuable items from her house each time he visited.
When her sight was restored, she noticed things were missing and refused to pay.
The Doctor took her to court.
She said, “Before, I couldn’t see. But now, I can see that my furniture is gone!”
Moral: Cheaters often outsmart themselves.
