The Fox and the Goat

A Fox fell into a deep well and couldn’t get out. A Goat came by and asked, “Is the water good?”

The Fox replied, “It’s the best I’ve ever tasted! Jump in and try it.”

The Goat leapt in, and then the Fox used his back to climb out.

As he walked away, the Goat asked, “How do I get out?”

The Fox said, “You should’ve thought about that before jumping in.”

Moral: Think before you act—especially when following others.
