The Oak and the Reeds

A mighty Oak stood tall beside a river, proud of its strength. Nearby, a group of Reeds bent and swayed with the wind.

The Oak mocked them, “You’re so weak!”

A strong storm came. The Oak stood firm at first—but the wind became too strong, and the tree snapped.

The Reeds, however, bent with the wind and survived.

Moral: Flexibility can be stronger than stubborn strength.
