The Mole and His Mother

A young Mole claimed he could see. To test him, his mother placed some incense in front of him.

“What’s this?” she asked.

“A pebble,” he answered.

“My son,” she sighed, “you’re not only blind—you have no sense of smell.”

Moral: Don’t claim what you don’t have.
