The Eagle and the Fox
An Eagle and a Fox were neighbors. The Eagle built her nest high in a tree, while the Fox lived in a hole below.
One day, the Eagle swooped down, grabbed the Fox’s baby, and fed it to her chicks.
The Fox begged for justice but was powerless.
Later, the Eagle took meat from an altar with a burning coal still attached. Her nest caught fire, and her chicks fell to the ground—right in front of the Fox.
Moral: Those who harm others may face justice in unexpected ways.
