The Fox and the Woodcutter (Revisited)
A Fox, running from hunters, asked a Woodcutter to hide him. The Woodcutter agreed and pointed to his hut.
When the hunters arrived, the Woodcutter said he hadn’t seen the Fox—but secretly pointed toward the hut with his eyes.
The hunters didn’t notice and left.
The Fox came out and said, “I would’ve thanked you—if your actions had matched your words.”
