The Dog and the Cook

A rich man gave a dinner, and his Cook was busy preparing meat. A Dog stole into the kitchen and ran off with a large roast.

When other Dogs asked how he got it, he said, “Just walk in boldly—it works!”

The others tried but were chased and beaten.

Moral: Boldness may work once, but it’s rarely successful twice.
