The Stag at the Pool

A Stag was drinking from a clear pool and admired his beautiful antlers in the reflection. But he was ashamed of his thin legs.

Suddenly, a hunter appeared, and the Stag ran. His legs helped him flee quickly, but his antlers got caught in the branches.

As the hunter approached, the Stag realized that the part he hated was what saved him, and the part he admired caused his downfall.

Moral: What we value most may not be what helps us most.
