The Lion in Love
A Lion fell in love with a farmer’s daughter and asked to marry her.
The farmer, afraid to say no directly, told the Lion, “If you want to marry her, you must let me pull your teeth and cut your claws.”
The Lion agreed. But once he was harmless, the farmer chased him away.
Moral: Don’t give up your strength to please those who don’t truly care for you.
