The Bear and the Two Travelers
Two friends were walking when a Bear appeared. One friend ran and climbed a tree.
The other, knowing he couldn’t escape, lay on the ground and held his breath.
The Bear sniffed him, thought he was dead, and left.
The friend in the tree came down and asked, “What did the Bear whisper to you?”
He replied, “Never travel with someone who leaves you behind.”
Moral: True friends don’t abandon you in danger.
