The Stag and His Reflection
A Stag went to drink from a pond and admired his beautiful antlers in the water. But he hated his thin, skinny legs.
Suddenly, hunters appeared. The Stag ran swiftly thanks to his legs, but his antlers got stuck in tree branches.
As he was caught, he realized, “What I admired betrayed me, and what I hated could have saved me.”
Moral: Don’t look down on useful things just because they’re not pretty.
