The Fox and the Goat (Revisited)

A Fox fell into a well and couldn’t get out. A Goat came by, and the Fox tricked him by saying, “The water down here is excellent! Come join me.”

The Goat jumped in, and the Fox used him as a step to climb out.

When the Goat asked how to get out, the Fox said, “You should’ve thought about that before jumping in.”

Moral: Think before you act—especially if someone’s advice benefits them more than you.
