The Ass and the Lapdog

A man had both a hardworking Donkey and a pampered little Lapdog. The Donkey was jealous of the Lapdog’s easy life, so one day he ran into the house, tried to cuddle the man, knocked over furniture, and caused a mess.

The man and servants beat the Donkey and sent him back to the stable.

Moral: Don’t try to be something you’re not.
