The Old Woman and the Physician
An Old Woman hired a doctor to heal her blindness, promising payment only if she recovered.
Each time he visited, he stole something from her house. When her sight returned, her house was empty, so she refused to pay.
He sued her. She said, “I still can’t see—my house used to be full!”
