The Fir Tree and the Bramble
A tall Fir Tree looked down at a small Bramble bush.
“You’re so useless and low to the ground,” said the Fir Tree.
The Bramble replied, “Maybe so. But no one tries to cut me down to make furniture. I stay safe where I am.”
Moral: It’s better to live a quiet, safe life than a proud one full of danger.
