The Fox and the Ape
After the Lion died, the animals chose a new king. The Ape danced and acted funny, and the animals crowned him king.
A few days later, the Fox found some food in a trap. He told the Ape, “Your Majesty, come—there’s treasure!”
The Ape jumped into the trap. The Fox laughed, “A king must have more sense than that.”
Moral: A crown doesn’t make someone wise.
