The Owl and the Birds

An old Owl warned the other Birds, “Don’t let that little boy grow up—he’ll set traps for us.”

But the Birds laughed and ignored her.

Later, the boy grew up and began trapping and killing birds. The Owl said, “I warned you, but you didn’t listen.”

Moral: Wise advice is often ignored—until it’s too late.
