The Horse and the Ass
A Horse and an Ass were traveling together. The Ass was carrying a heavy load and asked the Horse for help.
The Horse refused, and the Ass collapsed under the weight and died.
The man then transferred all the Ass’s load—and even its skin—to the Horse.
The Horse sighed, “If I had helped a little, I wouldn’t be carrying this much now.”
Moral: Helping others early can prevent bigger burdens later.
