The Tortoise and the Eagle

A Tortoise wanted to learn to fly. An Eagle agreed, saying, “What will you pay me?”

“I’ll give you treasures,” said the Tortoise. The Eagle lifted her high—then dropped her. She died on the rocks below.

Moral: Be careful what you wish for—it may destroy you.
